Calgary based manufacturer for industrial grade luminaries, is seeking an energetic and experienced Software Developer. This is a full-time position and will work with local and international partners based out of our Calgary office. The Software Developer will play a fundamental and supportive role in achieving our Company vision. You must be comfortable working with a diverse number of people, changing priorities, deadlines, team IT requirements, day-to-day priorities, and support with online marketing campaigns within a fast pace environment.

Requirements & Responsibilities:
● 3+ years of development experience including
● HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
● Twitter Bootstrap Framework
● Javascript frameworks: AngularJS (main), JQuery
● Bonus: Familiar with design patterns: AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), OOP
● Mobile First design and responsive web design
● Previous experience with developing web applications (vs. static websites)
● UI Testing Frameworks
● Know how to work with RESTful APIs
● Source Control: git
● Project Management: Visual Studio Team Services
● Agile Scrum
● C#
● ASP .Net WEB API 2.0
● Good knowledge about AOP and OOP design patterns
● Database: MongoDB (NoSQL Databases)
● Unit Testing – TDD (Test Driven Development)
● Restful API concepts
● CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)

Requirements Skills:
● Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
● Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
● Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
● In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
● Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
